Surgery

Dr. Coleridge is originally from England. After completing his undergraduate degree at the Imperial College of London, he attended the Glasglow Veterinary School. Following graduation, he completed the Hagyard surgical internship, a rotating large animal internship at Texas A&M University, and a combined surgical residency at Auburn University with Hagyard. During his residency, he also obtained a master’s in veterinary science, followed by becoming a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons. Dr. Coleridge spent many years working at Fethard Equine Hospital in Ireland and at Rossdales Equine Hospital and Diagnostic Center in Newmarket, UK– two of the main centers of the European thoroughbred industry. He has a particular interest in all aspects of the thoroughbred industry including breeding, sales and racing. His main surgical interests and experience include juvenile and adult orthopedic surgery, as well as broodmare reproductive and abdominal surgery.
