Dr. Pfiester is originally from Texas. In high school, he thought being a veterinarian was interesting and decided he wanted to pursue it. When it came to choosing where to settle his practice, he chose Hagyard because of the heavy caseload and the quality of care we provide. When out in the field, he enjoys reproduction work. The biggest life lesson he has learned while being a vet is to always be dedicated to your service. Outside of work, Dr. Pfiester enjoys spending his time outdoors.
