Dr. Ashley E. Craig has spent most of her life in Central Kentucky. She has grown up riding, showing and working in the Saddlebred industry. After graduating from the first class of Equine Scholars at Georgetown College, she spent time working in the saddlebred industry before going onto graduating from Veterinary School at Tuskegee University. Dr. Craig returned home to Central Kentucky following graduating veterinary school to complete an internship at Hagyards and then join our team as an associate.

Dr. Craig’s passion is focusing on the whole horse and taking part of every life stage of the horse.  Reproduction, preventative care, general health, ophthalmology and performance horse health, with a special focus on the Saddleseat and Gaited horses, are some of Dr. Craig’s main areas of interests. In addition to the medical aspect of veterinary medicine, Dr. Craig is actively involved with the National American Association of Equine Practitioners and is on the advisory board for EquiManagement Magazine and the Veterinary Business Management Association.
