charitable contributions, community service, and fundraisers. Below is a list of charitable contributions for 2009.
Central Kentucky Riding for Hope
October 19, 2009 – Last month, Hagyard Equine Medical Institute
and the Markey Cancer Foundation played host to the first annual gala
held in honor of Betsy Fishback, a beloved member of the sport horse
community. The gala, titled “The Betsy,” was held on September 18
during the $50,000 CSI-W Lexington Grand Prix at the Kentucky Horse
Park. All sponsor donations and
proceeds from the gala went toward cancer patient care and research at
the Markey Cancer Center in Lexington.
